Sex. Sex. Sex. The poems in this book are dripping with it. Not surprising since the book is named after a porn queen. The poems are fun, but once you get past the shock of reading about an anal queen, pussy farts (which “turn the stiffest stiffy / Soft as soft ice cream.”), spunk on a C-cup, chicks with dicks, and “shooting the bullet-hole” these poems leave the reader feeling a little empty. There is no denying the book’s bad-ass nature-something that is welcome in the occasionally dry world of poetry-but there isn’t much depth in these poems. Perhaps their intention is to be as slight as the films starring Ms. Kelly. (Vincent Ponka)
