Right in the middle of reading this issue of Prairie Journal (1993 – why are you sending us an issue from 1993?) I got the sudden feeling I’d read stuff like this before, and I couldn’t remember if I liked the experience the first time around or not. Poetry, stories, line drawings, a review. The one brilliant moment in this issue is a story by Ruba Nadda, “Been Too Long on the Road.” Beautiful. Worth the price of the mag (if you can still get a hold of this vintage 1993 issue).
