Venus is an honest collection of thoughts and opinions of various women, peppered with both informative and political pieces. The women of Venus make no apologies for their statements, boldly going where no woman is socialized to go. Though it is the publication of a community centre, and reads as such, it outshines similar publications like Connect. The graphics aren’t fancy, but neither is water – and people drink that more than Coke and Pepsi combined. So there. (MM)
