The Torontonians, Mammalian’s teen collective, have commandeered room 201 at the Gladstone Hotel’s annual alternative design event, Come Up to My Room. Applying a manic, hyper-teen aesthetic, the Torontonians ask for a little privacy in this very public moment while they hide in their blanket forts, looking at who-the-hell-knows-what on Reddit, whispering gossip about you and your ugly shoes, and praying they won’t be killed in the avalanche of their piled belongings: dirty socks, bongs, manga, teddy bears, homework and more homework.
