Feminism for Men: A Talk with Chris Crass, 6:30pm, Hall Building, Concordia University, 1455 de Maisonneuve 

What does it mean to be a feminist man? Why do men need feminism? How can men support and encourage each other in the struggle to develop models of feminist manhood? Crass will explore these issues.

Tuesday March 4

Mars at Sunrise: Canadian Premiere, 6:30pm, Cinema Politica, Bloor Cinema, 506 Bloor Street West 

Mars At Sunrise tells the story of a war waged on imagination. The film abstractly portrays the conflict between artists on either side of Israel’s militarized borders, and explores how a powerful creative mind survives, and even thrives, under pressure. Producer and art director will be hosting a Q & A after the screening.

 Mini-Comics Making Day, 11am, Learning Zone, OCAD Zine Library, 122 St. Patrick

To celebrate the 4th annual Mini-Comics Day, the Learning Zone and the OCAD Zine Library will be hosting a Mini-Comics Making Day in the Learning Zone. Open to students and members of the general public, the event will feature materials for making your own mini-comics. Feel free to collaborate or stop by to make a comic or two on your own.  Zine donation encouraged!

Toronto Queer Slowdance: Early St. Patrick’s Day edition, 9:30pm, Dovercourt House, 805 Dovercourt Road, $10

ith a lending library of designated dancers for all you wallflowers, and a dancecard-booklet to set up dances in advance (should you choose to), Toronto Queer Slowdance has all slow songs, all night long! It’s high school with a happy ending.
