This weekend in Toronto, 32 teenagers, a six-year-old and a librarian will provide a new vision of the city onstage, devising promises with the help of an audience. Mammalian Diving Reflex presents Promises to a Divided City – a data-driven interactive performance that will help audience members reconsider what it means to be a Torontonian. For all of us with Rob Ford exhaustion, this production aims to breathe new life into our perceptions of the city and invigorate our abilities to recognize community and opportunity. This is a two-day only performance, with limited audience numbers.
