ADHD, MDD, OCD, PTSD, DID, BPD. The alphabet soup of Mad perspectives are well represented in the second issue of this compilation zine. A compilation of writings by students from McMaster University, this zine has a little of everything: prose, photos, puzzles, poems, even screenshots of Google searches that demonstrate the bias in the most frequently searched terms around a variety of mental health conditions. It has a playful tone, with activity pages throughout to keep reading interactive.

Like in many broadly-themed compzines, the pieces don’t all hang together neatly. The poetry especially seemed a little disconnected, heightening the flavour of a campus lit mag. There are also pages that seem to be campus advertisements for Mad Pride Hamilton, and their upcoming events calendar. Overall the personal stories and great sense of humour make this zine approachable for anyone interested in Mad pride and mental health, particularly among college students. (Kelly McElroy)
