I saw one of the Toy Story movies on acid in 1995. Reading this comic was sorta like that experience. So it’s a bunch of action figures etc., dolls all confronting gender and sexuality issues while drinking and yelling. This is sort of like Robot Chicken but in a classic comic format. It’s entertaining, clichéd, hyperbolic and even at times sexy. It’s amazing what scanners and perversion and sensibility can accomplish. The dialogue is authentic as well, straight from the valley of the dollhouse, “Look at yerself. In yer black leather jacket like yer so tough! Yer just a fuckin’ poser like her!” This is one of the best comics about lesbian folk singers ever. (Nathaniel G. Moore)
