Elevate Me Later
On the one hand Elevate Me Later seems pretty straightforward_lots of earnest little band interviews and profiles with Canadian acts, and the requisite cd and zine reviews. But as it evolves and matures, it’s getting to be one of the best in the country, if only for the charm and enthusiasm it exhibits. Yes, there’s lots of wasted space, the photos are badly reproduced, and the interview intros are fairly shallow as far as substance and information goes. So, why do I care? Because it’s entertaining and I just plain enjoy the spirit of the thing. Interviews with Kepler, 4_Star Movie, Saturnhead and many more put the fun and vigour back into rock & roll. More power to them. (DF)
