Good coverage of punk music and politics, with the emphasis this issue being a Calgary scene report and a thick pullout on “the Zapatista Rebellion in Chiapas.” The scene report is comprehensive, covering Calgary punk bands, promoters, venues, labels, distributors, fanzines and more. The Chiapas special is comprised of an introduction to the crisis, and then reprints of wire service reports and press releases. A commendable job, but the lack of any maps or photographs makes for tough sledding. (DF)
