Damn. I’ve been meaning to review It’s a Bunny for several issues now, but never quite got to it. Now it looks like it might be in limbo, on its way to ghost site status. That’s a shame, because the Winter ’97 issue, apparently the most recent, is full of great stuff. There’s an exceptional excerpt from a novel called “Napoleon’s Retreat” by Rob Allen, which is not about Napoleon. It’s about a plot to assassinate Richard Nixon, which is better. It’s about a lot of other things too. There are also a bunch of poems, which are good, a couple of short stories, which are great, plus some essays and some watercolors which have translated to the Web surprisingly well. So go take a look at this site, if you haven’t already done so, and email the proprietors to tell them to get a new issue out.
