This is primarily a work of verbal and visual metaphor. It gives the impression of viewing one’s thoughts from the inside, before the brain has performed any filtering. It seemed to float somewhere between conscious thought and disjointed ideas, hence the title. The form is a little too busy for this reviewer’s taste. Images and quotes are mixed with both typed and written poetry. A few great lines can be found, however, within this amalgamated mess, though finding them does require some patience. (Jay Joshi)
