Construction & Destruction — Video et Taceo
Construction Destruction’s Video et Taceo starts off with a synthesizer melody that sounds like it should accompany an infomercial, and that made me a little skeptical. However, as the album continued I found such a unique mélange of songs, I became quite lost in it. This guy/girl two-piece switches between acoustic, electric, bass, percussion and keys, with wonderfully written harmonies, containing elements of Beck, Hayden, Talking Heads and at times the White Stripes.
