Bite Back Distro
About: Bite Back Distro is a new collaborative zine coming out in Summer 2021. Their goal is to respond to the themes of sexual harassment while walking and the experience of femme presenting people in urban environments. They provide an accessible selling platform for creatives who might not usually be able to distribute their work due to packaging costs or high minimum order requirements for printing.
Submissions: Bite Back is looking for submissions for our first collaborative zine, responding to the themes of sexual harassment while walking and the experience of femme presenting people in urban environments. This could be illustrations, writing, comics, poetry, photography, collage. This could be pre-existing work or work specifically made for the zine. We are particularly interested in hearing about the experiences of BIPOC and trans people, but all submissions are welcome. Participants will receive a copy of the zine upon release.
Writing: can be sent as a .pdf, .doc, or a link to a Google Doc.
Images: should be A5, 300 dpi, and sent as either a .jpeg or .png.
