Now, as much as ever, I ask you: Show me your ZINES!
Registrations for Canzine 2024 are officially OPEN! Join us in Toronto AND Ottawa for an uncanny smorgasbord of zines, art, comics, discussions, workshops and surprises!
Ottawa Canzine will be taking place on September 22, 2024 at the Glebe Community Centre (175 Third Ave) while Toronto Canzine will be on October 27, 2024, returning to the Cecil Community Center (58 Cecil St)!
As was the case last year, due to limited space it will not be first-come-first-serve. Artists and vendors who focus on zines will be prioritized. If your zine is not ready or listed on the site you provided, please make clear in your application what kind of zine you expect to sell.
All accepted applications come with a 1-year subscription to Broken Pencil (or an extension to your subscription if you are already a subscriber). There are no refunds, although any vendors who cancel will still receive a free one-year subscription. Additionally, all applicants who are not selected for an in-person Canzine will be offered preferred placement in the next Online Canzine.
Registration for both festivals closes on July 31st.
