Now our plucky interns will be taking over this space, so you can look forward to piles of posts of clever curated commentary about various internet goobledegak.

Meet Lindsay and Matt’s Bookshelves – Our dear editor and librarian Lindsay Gibb – and her partner, BP comic artist Matthew Daley –  were featured on Hazlitt in a cute post showcasing their bookshelves, and they explain why Lindsay borrows books and lets Matt do the buying and share which book she’s owned the longest. It is real cute. Also their cat is featured. Enjoy.

Listen All Ya’ll, Librarians – Speaking of librarians – thes this has been all over the place this week, but we love it so much we’re gonna share it again here. DEAL WITH IT. It’s the Beastie Boys’ classic chesnut ‘Sabotage’ re-created by LIBRARIANS.

Let’s Gif Again, Like We Did Last Summer – Happy Friday ya knuckleheads. Enjoy this customizable and delightful GIF dance party. There’s a dancing banana. And a Fabio, I think. And a guy wearing shorts. And you can pick the music. WOOOO

Feed Your Head – This delightful blog post from Brain Pickings shares how Lewis Carroll used the metaphors of food, drink and mealtimes to explain how one can ideally ‘digest’ the material, books and information they read. He recommends ‘type, variety, amount and frequency’ as one way people can get the most out of their reading material. For those of us who live in a swirling vortex of social media bombardment, this advice is more pertinent than ever.
