This month’s installment of Fan Fiction features three actors from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World – Ben Lewis, Kerr Hewitt and Chantelle Cheung – plus the usual hilarity of the Weaker Vessels, Rulers of the Universe and the Sushi Boys reading the best and worst (and best-worst) Batman-themed fanfic from the internets.

Activist Sophie Delmas will lead a discussion on the representation of homosexual relationships and queer characters in Western graphic media, including Marvel and DC Comics.

Meow Mix, an iconic Montréal event that started in 1997, was the center-point of the queer and “bent” girl scene up to 2012. Check out this visual retrospective that spans its lifetime. A collection of picures as well as archives will be shown. Opening night Tues Aug 13 beginning at 6pm.

A weekend of art, music and exploration in the woods. Check out a series of site-specific installations of by artists, produced during the week long White Rabbit residency. Tour the outdoor installations alongside resident artists while participating in mobile discussions and critique on the process of creating site-specific work and performance projects. Plus music!
