Hey everyone – say hello to our new intern Ryan. This keen young man will be helping out with the Broken Pencil blog – among many other tasks – for the next few months. So far we’ve gleaned that he is intrigued by Pig Latin, doesn’t like hot climates, hails from Uxbridge and likes chicken and bacon paninis. He’s also creative, hilarious and a hard worker, and we are really pleased to have him in the office. Here’s Ryan’s personal bio, which we feel is somewhat self-effacing, but we’ll take it. Welcome Ryan!
Ryan Eastman is not a somebody. After twenty years all he has to show for his time is an assortment of short stories and an (almost) BFA from OCADU. Despite his lack of recognition, he enjoys writing. Other interests include sandwiches, Netflix and the timely wit of Tina Yothers. He is happy to be a part of the Broken Pencil team and hopes he doesn’t screw things up royally.
