This is a special issue on change put out by members of a community who have the most to lose and fear from the Harris government in Ontario. The anxiety, distrust and disgust exhibited in this issue are palatable. While the prose is less than pristine and plenty jumbled, the sentiment — that life for the poor of Toronto has suddenly changed for the worse — could not possibly be better articulated.
