Alien Basement Food is an oversized zine that’s chock full of rants, collages, poems and comics by Ashley and her friends. It’s big and it’s cheap. Some of the writing is actually pretty well done. In Tales of a Modern Nomad, Ashley recounts her experiences of moving again and again, in the search of a home. It’s a perzine by a collective rather than an individual, with a dose of pop anarchy for the kids. For 25 cents, you have nothing to lose, except maybe a phone call. (SD)
