For a long time Circuit Traces had apparently fallen off the face of the planet. Its old site had gone 404 and no search engine could turn up a current link to it. A few of the sci-fi hotlists out there sent plaintive calls across the foggy surface of the net, hoping this excellent site would find a way back to the surface, but nothing was heard of it for years. Now it seems to be back. Kind of. What was once the best science fiction e-zine in Canada now at least has a web presence again, but time seems to have frozen for Circuit Traces as of the Fall 97 issue. Maybe it’s a ghost site. Maybe it will continue its long trek back from the land of the electronic dead. Either way, we’ve all got one more chance to check out this remarkably well-preserved corpse. It’s as entertaining as stagnation gets. (DW)
