This is a fine zine which, from what the introduction says, isn’t just full of comics. But whatever the case may be, the comics are all really good. We’re treated to several full-page strips (not drawings) by Billy Mavreas, plus lotsa miscellaneous fun ones by the guy I assume who puts the zine out, Tim Moerman. There’s an entertaining silent 6-pager about two guys fighting viciously, some funny Gilbert Shelton-style political satire stuff, and an expertly composed story of a redneck who finds himself in a manly-man gay bar. It always amazes me how many talented comic artists work completely outside of the comics-jam scene in Montreal. Good thing some of them put out their own zines anyway. (Louis Rastelli)
