I picked up this mini comic in the Distroboto machine, so it came in its own cigarette pack with a frenzied little guy on the cover. The story begins with this guy’s obvious frustration on the toilet. He goes for a walk to buy some prunes and bran flakes and everything he sees reminds him of his clogged bowels. The comic reads like a story board, which is not surprising considering Farzin teaches animation at Concordia University. The best part about this comic is that all the dialogue is in a seemingly random language. He says things like, “Tolonto” or, “Ojho bojho” for no apparent reason, which adds to its hilarious absurdity. Will the prunes bring him relief? A simple and beautifully done comic. (Andy Brown)
