Somewhere between a James Bond story and a tale of high school angst lies Horizon Line. Our hero Spike has run-ins with the school principal, love troubles, and fights with bullies. Apparently, he also saves the world or something at times. Whatever, this has some real quality. The drawing, though crude black and white, has enough detail to be individual. The dialogue is fairly realistic. And even the action sequences hold your interest. The story is part of an ongoing series. (KR)
