Ironically, Hysteria/e, subtitled Ottawa’s Feminist Journal, is a calm, peaceful receptacle for poetry, essays, fiction and resources. They have set out to reclaim the notion of the hysterical female, and have succeeded so well that at times this zine in newspaper format seems almost placid. This is the dream issue, and it includes reflections, advice and stories about dreams — articles exclusively by women but open to anyone interested in pursuing the hazy fragments of night which we so often remember only to deny.
