Machines, monster trucks, found poems that bring it all together and make it seem like mechanistic life itself is a found poem, analogy or metaphor for some other higher purpose. This is the second instalment in Annette’s compelling series of investigations into the nature of the machine in society. As Monster Truck Driver Hercules puts it, “I always had a tall street truck and they outlawed ’em back were I live in Ohio and it just developed into this.” Recommended. (HN)
