Some zines I just don’t understand. New Ink is, perhaps, the most obtuse zine I’ve ever seen. Page after page of sometimes clever, mostly unimaginative imagery that is concluded with an out-of-the-blue social commentary on the lifestyle of privacy and the sharing and selling of personal information. Thing is, this commentary is very well thought out and nicely written. I was far more intrigued by this two-page bit than by anything that preceded it. (Jon Pressick)
