This issue, we get the answer to the last reader questionnaire. Among the results, Rhodo readers hate country music, disagree on the impact joining the U.S. would have and call their sexual organs, among other things, “a cat that wants in and out.” Then we get musings on our national identity, the evils of conspicuous consumption and the death of country music: “It has no place in a society with such a sick drive for vice and wealth. But that’s okay, it sucked anyway.” I don’t think they give country music (real country music) enough credit, but except for that, Rhododendron’s kinda fun to read. (KR)
