Having spent most of my formative years as a loser, there was nothing that I hated more than a winner. Later in my life I discovered a new breed of people that I began to despise even more than the traditional winner. This would be the poseur loser, which begot the trend of artificial underdogs. (This condition is still highly in vogue, as made evident by the icons of popular music today.) I can tell a real loser from a faux loser from a mile away, you know? The real loser’s the one that’s not talking about what a loser he is. Much like an undeniable drunk, doesn’t usually bring up drinking in conversation, unless to ask for another drink. Of course that may not mean a thing to you. In which case you’ll enjoy Salvo’s interview with Thrush Hermit, and The Evil Shriner Family comic, part one. There are also nice pictures of Tristan Psionic, which I’m also sure you’ll like also.
