My publication Resources for Radicals (shameless plug) used to included Spectre but won’t anymore because it has ceased to have a print version. There is something sad about this trend towards having a great deal of important progressive information only available to those with internet access. With this in mind, I am still glad that Spectre found a way to survive. It is a good source of news about Europe from a radical democratic socialist perspective. To a lesser extent, it covers other socialist parties as well, for example David McReynolds’ campaign for president of the United States. It is text-heavy and could use graphics or pictures – which were strengths of its old print version. (BB)
