I like everything about this zine except when it goes literary — the fiction and the poetry are unreadable — but there’s a fine style of rant afoot amongst these self-confessed London, Ont. expatriates. They excel at bizarre photo collage technique as well. Highlights include: Eric’s total freak-out at the idea that “Pluto is 5907 million miles from the sun and McDonald’s has served 99 billion something-or-other and no one seems to be sure what that something-or-other is.” Mike’s Serbo-Croatian and Italian phonetic translations for “Bring out the gimp” (iz vody da gimp) and other famous phrases. A Biblical analysis of Michael Jackson titled “I Saw a Jewelled Glove Upon a Pale Rider”. Much more.
