This is the first issue of the Indestructible Mr. Impossible series, and although his birth origin is recorded in the first panels here, something tells me he’s already made appearances in previous Dollar Superhero comics. It’s all fairly standard superhero stuff with Jason Loo’s striking foreground graphics and minimal backgrounds. Our hero comes to earth, assumes an identity, falls in love, fights evil, and becomes mistaken for a gay man. Featuring an interview with the superhero by a fictional newspaper, the comic looks like it might have a slew of tie-ins down the road. Comes in collector’s-edition colour or black & white cover illustrations. (DF)
