Zine Review:
The Project
No margin is left uncluttered in The Project, a Denver zine compiled by Bobbi Stark that serves as a creative repository for local youth. The prose and poetry is earnest, but rather green — as is too often the case in independent media, cathartic writing does not quite make for compelling reading. The photography and occasional illustration are of interest, but tend to be crowded out by bland verse and doodled marginalia. The Project would benefit from a more focused approach and a cleaner layout, to give each piece room to breathe. (Daniel Marrone)
