In case you’re in British Columbia, and have a hard time finding good music and zines or planning which concerts to attend, Road Map magazine (the website’s print version) was created to disseminate information about the Punk/Hardcore/Do-It-Yourself scene. While making the leap to the Internet, the creators compiled information about all the bands, labels, distros, zines, stores, show-bookers and other stuff that you could ever possibly ask for. Or not ask for. Or whatever… It’s easily navigable, and looks great, too. Even if you’re not a punk, the Road Map is a great resource for people travelling to BC. Every province needs a Road Map to steer us all away from the mundane and toward the alternative. Avoid Chapters! Burn the HMVs! And rawwwk on! (EPW)
