The creators say that this ‘zine is not available in Canada. We don’t know if that’s true, but if it is it’s probably because this ‘zine has a strong political message that some might deem too radical, or too harsh to stomach. It is a political statement from a member of the gay community to the gay community. Overall, the issue is the treatment of street kids. It documents the dreadful saga of attempting to get a street kid into drug treatment and the way he is and has been treated for most of his life. It’s looking for serious changes, not just in law or political will, but in attitudes, perspectives, priorities and behaviours and this drives the rest of the ‘zine, including photographs, illustrations, poster-like pages, to something of an afterword that spells out its challenge to the gay community. The tone is angry and fed up. Needless to say, it is not a light read.
