I hated a lot of what proved to be yet another twenty-ish culture magazine. This issue is about love. All the articles are in the first person. There are many alternative view-points. There is an interview with Massive Attack. There are two fashion spreads, both quite ugly. The cover made me feel fairly unpleasant. It features the same two ugly sweaty grunge-meisters that later grace the main fashion spread. I even hated the comic strip, Miss Blonde and the Pussy Posse. Please, give me more than a bunch of words and silly pictures. The people responsible for this magazine make their appearance then duck out the back door. The next day they say ‘we were there!’
