And there are some pretty desperate moments: “He died an angry, lonely young man/So Jesus stuck his hands down his pants -/for a passion he did not want/They all died angry and lonely.” But there are some positive moments too: “In my life I’ve carried so much/But one thing I carry that no one else can/Is me./And I think I carry myself well.” There’s rapists and child molesters, drug addicts and prostitutes, and a recipe for stew.
