Wednesday May 1, 1pm, Free Food for All Festival, Queen’s Park south lawn, free

Featuring a free food feast (bring potluck items and your own bowl and spoon) a musical jam, workshops on seed saving, seed-ball making and engaging with food policy; speakers on indigenous food sovereignty & justice for migrant workers, live musical theatre and the replanting of a Free Community Food Garden at Queen’s Park.

Wednesday May 1, 7:30-10pm, Little Brother Issue 2 Launch, June Records (662 College)

It’s the jokes issue of one of our favorite new magazines! Featuring new work by Mariko Tamaki, Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer, Stephen Thomas, Kaya Genç, BP fiction editor AG Pasquella, Shari Kasman, and others. Check it oot!
