Tomorrow, for a full 24-hours, Vancouver’s Project Space (22 E Georgia Street) will be holding a 24-hour Drawing Party.
Everyone is welcome to stop by the space between noon and noon on August 10th and 11th to contribute to a collaborative community arts project. Supplies on hand will include paper, markers, traditional Chinese calligraphy pens, crayons, pens and pencils, and the general public is encouraged to contribute any drawing, doodle or design to the project.
In addition to the mass drawing project, Project Space will be hosting workshops including Classic Strategies For Draw Something to Up Your Game at Pictionary; an improv drawing session called Something Out of Nothing and a drawing lesson inspired by (and featuring videos of) Bob Ross. More information on workshops, and how to sign up for the sessions that require registration, can be found at http://awesomedrawingparty.tumblr.com.
Snacks and beverages will be provided.
