Canzine West: Ho Tam

Time to meet another dual vendor and panelist! We’re stoked to welcome Ho Tam the publisher behind 88Books as well as projects such as hotam, Poser, and XXX Zine. We reviewed one of the XXX Zines, Roy Drawings by Doug Melnyk, in Issue 60, and have been following his work ever since. We’re interested in how the medium of a zine might allow for the development of a complicated and pluralistic political identity such as queerness, and Ho Tam’s work seems to prod that same question— as well as many others.
