Monday, Feb 27, BoardGame Designers Night, Snakes & Lattes, 600 Bloor St. W. 7pm, $5.
Basement board game designers gather at board game cafe to show their work and play each others’ hard work. Constructive feedback for all levels of designers is meted out and the $5 fee for playing the games is waived if you purchase $5 of food or drink.
Saturday, Mar 3., Toronto Zine Library Benefit, Soybomb, 156 Bathurst St., 8pm, PWYC/$5
The Toronto’s lovely zine library, along with local initiative Community Noise, are hosting a fundraiser this Saturday, with the bands Direct Approach, The FLQ’s, Spectre and The First Impressions playing. Also, readings from zinesters!

The wonderful and popular strip spelling bee takes place again this weekend in Montreal, where people sign up to spell and strip, for each letter wrong, on stage.
