To be honest, I don’t really “get” this “journal of fantastic thought”. But it is long running, fits in the palm of your hand and seems vaguely dangerous. Pasternak merges new age ruminations with an obsession with symbols – like the cross and the infinity symbol – and rounds it all out with apocalyptic pronouncements like “one day, no more babies will be born.” I can’t really say much about the value of this work, but if the following sentence ruminating on the infinity symbol appeals, then this is for you: “I find myself linking it to a world made up of dualities that are ever present in our physical mind and the symmetry of our bi-lateral bodies.” (Hal Niedzviecki)
