Kick ass illustration coupled with some good rants and raves make for a convincing beginning. The fiction was fresh and interesting, like the great piece by Melinda Ramsay. There was also a good opinion piece on the up side of mindless repetitive work and a thoughtful rumination about becoming a parent when few others are and you’re not the one actually carrying the child to term. Finally, the title drawing, the BAD Monkey, is exceptional — evil, and funny. Hey, don’t forget, they’re taking submissions.
