Subtitled The Unreal Truth, this is probably a one-off book, since it s hard to see that the same motif could be carried through to a series. It s seemingly an autobiographical portrait: one drawing and one cutline per page, with a tone somewhere between self-mocking and self- pitying. That balance isn t quite right, but it’s still an entertaining little book, with simple drawings that reflect ironically back on the simple text.
