I have a special place in my heart for teen heart-throb Luke Perry. Back in my old lifeguarding days, pre-adolescent bobby-soxers would make eyes at me ’cause they thought I looked like early 90210-era Dylan McKay (we had the same sunglasses). Then, like the Luke Perry in this comic book, I started losing my hair. But I ended up looking kinda Michael Stipe-y (according to some), whereas Luke ended up looking like shit and the similarities between us stopped. I did not become a junkie. I did not lose my hair-piece in a strong wind. I did not buy a gun. I did not massacre the employees of the FOX Network. But Luke did. It says so here. And right on the cover, Luke says, “It’s all true.” I don’t lie. And neither does Luke.
