There’s a helluva lot of Christian music happening, apparently, and this zine is only too happy to fill you in. They also cover events in Michigan, Chicago, Portland, shows in Winnipeg and beyond. They interview Paul who is a violin playing, dish-washing youth with an interesting wardrobe, mostly about finding Jesus. They review bands like Argyle Park, Opinion 8, MXPX and Reckless Faith. They write a few essays, one about God’s gender, one about how God should not be blamed for all the suffering in the world because human beings cause that, and another brief one about how God will start the revival by reaching out to the “alternative” folks of the world, because he always starts with the downtrodden, the misunderstood and the outcasts. Boisterous layout and art work fill out the rest of an earnest publication that has a sense of humour about things, but stays close to the party line.
