Part of this thing’s purpose was to be the guide to the first-ever Halifax Comic Jam. On that count it’s disappointing. First off, there are only two comics in the whole thing. Second, there’s only one article that really talks about comics in detail and then they’re basically Marvel comics. Same with the Comic News – it’s all DC and Superman on TV. There’s more music coverage (eg. reviews and commentary) than comic stuff, especially indie comic info. Then there’s several full page ads and you’re left wondering what is this anyway?
