This magazine is full of lots of valuable info for gays and non-gays alike. The magazine profiles the activities of gays, lesbians and trans-genders in Canada’s Atlantic region. This issue contains a memorial to AIDS activist Wilson Hodder, who recently died of AIDS. The memorial pays homage to Hodder, and talks about how he really fought for what he believed in and took risks. There are also briefs about the new PFLAG chapter in Moncton, and the Gay and Lesbian festival in Cape Breton, and an article about the New Brunswick Gay Pride Parade. I particularly liked the column titled Transgender Memories. There’s also a large section in this publication dedicated to the AIDS coalition of Nova Scotia, international and national Gay related news and so on. I really enjoyed all aspects of this publication and recommend it as educational reading for gays and non-gays who care about human rights and acceptance. (AK)
