Leftist is the first word that comes to mind when reading this zine _ not that there is anything wrong with that. It may be the editor’s unlucky day, but lately I’ve been griping about the sorry state of “mainstream” (perhaps I’ve found my problem right there) leftist politics, insofar as it is cyclical and never really offers up new perspectives. This short little zine which, produced cleanly from a desktop computer and color printer, is a short read offering up three articles: one which demands moving ourselves forward for political change (all too vague a demand); another which says simply everyone’s deserves to eat (duh) and last the government _ basically _ sucks. While the articles are well_intentioned, their politics are simply to vague to be stirring. One last thing: use spell-check and then read your zine AGAIN for errors. Spelling mistakes drive reviewers nuts. (KJ)
