In light of National Poetry Month, CBC’s CANADAWrites profiled BookThug’s Jenny Sampirisi, letting readers in on her creative atmosphere.

On rob mclennan’s blog we have a classic 20-questions with Tamara Faith Berger, who will be doing a reading in Ottawa as part of the Ottawa International Writers’ Festival this Sunday, April 29th. She talks about her first life changing book, her writing process and her opinion on the role of a writer in today’s cultural sector.

New York’s Barnard Zine Library was at the Feminist Zinefest, which was held in Brooklyn in February. Barnard’s Jenna Freedman shares the new zines she catalogued into their collection after the fest.

Staying in Brooklyn, Emma Goss analyzes the content at the Brooklyn Zine Fest and discovers a love for paper, print and nostalgia.
